CRC in Cairns Edit

The Chain Reaction Cycles crew headed over to Australia for the second stop on the World Cup Tour. Before heading to Cairns they hung out on the West Coast for a week at Sam's house and got some riding in before taking the flight over to Queensland. They also stopped by the new Stay Strong Australia shop in Perth..

The lads did well and it was a successful leg of the tour. on home soil for Sam Hill. He gave it everything he had and rode the top section of the track so fast and smooth then dug in deep at the final pedalling section to clinch a fifth place podium finish. The Australian crowd went wild cheering for him — it was so great to see.

Joe Smith was riding fantastically all week and put down a great run in the finals to finish 13th which was an awesome result for him and the team. And Mike Jones had a great run to place 30th, which was a fantastic result and a great boost for the remainder of his first senior race season. Mike will get a few weeks rest now to recover before the next race in Fort William...
